Pros

Some colleagues were really nice. Friday snacks.

Cons

I was expected to jump into "full swing" with only a days training. My first week I was welcomed to "clientname-Hell" in a company briefing. A couple of weeks after I started a team member left and I was expected to pick up their workload in their absence without any training or a handover from them. Recruitment for their role didn't start until after they left; so I had to train the replacement too - very poor planning. I had to work late every Friday, usually until 8-9pm. No overtime pay for this. By the 8th week in a row it seemed obvious this was normal, and was a part of the job. I was expected to start work early every day and usually stay late too because one member of the team would complain to the boss if she thought people weren't putting in enough hours. Company provides things like jigsaws to do on breaks, but then gives you a hard time for doing them. Senior colleague told us about her excessive drug use in her early 20s during the most awkward business meeting ever. I could go on; the ironic part is they're all convinced it's a great place to work!

Pros

Excellent company, great leadership, great earning opportunity.

Cons

Must have high tolerance for complexity, uncertainty, ambiguity due to the flexible nature of products/services.

Pros

Honestly, the only thing I could say that’s really great about this company is the CEO, haven’t said that I believe the CEO needs to look into his leadership and do some major reorganization because when you hear him speak and when he communicates with his company, you hear heartfelt messages, but his leadership does not beat to the same drum. When I first started here, I was so excited because I finally believe that I found a place that I could call home. If you are a minority, he will probably have a very difficult time here they are very selective on who they like to help and who they want to see succeed. They will set you up a success if you’re a part of your tribe, but if you are not, you will fend for yourself and likely find challenges that will be beyond your scope of correcting.

Cons

Managers that have been in positions for too long and have not changed. Their ways have not changed views and have not evolved. They have not stepped outside and looked into the real world. They continue to operate in their closed ecosystem, are not open to change, not open to see other people of color evolve. If you look closely, you will see that there are no reviews from anyone of color. All the reviews come from white people and this very well might be the first one.
