Pros

3 weeks vacation fist year, $2 lunch, 9/80 schedule. CEO appears to be open and ready to change the old culture.

Cons

Very few true promotions besides upper management, lots of lateral moves to give false hope. Lack of transparency, unequal pay, and no clear way to grow unless you're on the right side of the politics. Unclear long term plan for employees, not much communication from management regarding real opportunities-- lots of talk very little action. Work place politics are everywhere, but never experience what has fomented at Bhp. Verbalizing frustrations regarding job functions, pay, or processes are still discouraged, ( even though efforts to change this have been expressed by new CEO and President). Lots of closed door conversations. Lots of petty tattle tailing and CYA culture instead of open discussions and working as a team. Lastly, there are so many processes and procedures that by the time the project is over the wheel has been reinvented 100x.

Pros

Some good co-workers and good challenges

Cons

Leadership in the Tucson office is highly political and unprofessional. Feedback is not given directly. Local leadership is more interested in Linkedin posting and image, rather than anything of substance.
