Pros

BHPBs Houston facilities are very nice, and given the new building under construction, they are sure to be even nicer in the future. BHPB also pays very well, although not well enough to justify the cons of the company culture and weak leadership in place at the company.

Cons

Management will tell you what you want to hear in order to get you in the door. They will put a great job description in front of you, tell you all about the perks of BHPB - on site cafeteria, gym, health care, etc. But, beware. Your actual job will vary significantly from the job that they sold you. In my case, I interviewed for a senior level job, but ended up doing entry level work. I felt as if my skills were being dulled by the lack of mental stimulation. When, I spoke to my boss about the matter, he acknowledged the situation but told me to "suck it up and make the most of it. At one point, he even threatened to humiliate me in front of my peers. Such situations-the manipulation and bullying-occur over and over again at BHPB. It's an accepted behavior throughout the company. I certainly would not recommend this job to any well-respected colleague or friend.

Pros

Some good co-workers and good challenges

Cons

Leadership in the Tucson office is highly political and unprofessional. Feedback is not given directly. Local leadership is more interested in Linkedin posting and image, rather than anything of substance.
