      Pros

      Exposure to high-profile folks in investment banking and political circles is tremendous. Opportunities to work on m&a deals in a variety of industries are abundant.

      Cons

      The starting salary was below market, I believe. They put a lot on your plate but the infrastructure wasn't there to handle the enormous administrative workload that comes with it.

      Pros

      My supervisor at BGR was very helpful and kind. If you could not cover a given event for whatever reason, you could hand it over to another individual by informing the supervisor.

      Cons

      The amount of work was very sporadic. There would be long spells without much work and then there would be only a few events to cover.
