Pros

* Great Salary, started at $20.42/hour in a call center environment - with increases as you gain more skills/complete more training. Current rate with 2 skills (Collections/Service Orders) is $21.53/hour * Full Time Employment, convenient location to Baltimore City - guarded entrances, safe office work environment * Great matching 401K Program & other benefits * 11 Vacation Days, 4 Floating Holidays, etc. that increases based on tenure with the company * There is opportunity to move within the company, but you have to stick with it - and the call center has a really high turnover rate * There are a lot of Employee Resource Groups that offer opportunities to network & etc, but with the lack of work/life balance in the call center - you really aren't able to participate in any of it * Very high call volume call center - thousands of calls a day, and customer base varies - many are highly opinionated of the company being a "monopoly"

Cons

* Absolutely no work/life balance - Call center employees are essential from 7AM-7PM while the business is open. * Monthly rotating schedules that change. Your start time could be anywhere between 7AM - 10:15AM, or 4PM. Flexibility is a must, but more often than not - the entire call center can be kept "until further notice" - which could result in a 12-hour shift regularly. * Near impossible to schedule things around work - including doctors appointments, child care, anything social outside of work. Operations team attempts to balance business needs and the humanity of call center employees - but has a long way to go to reach any sort of "balance" for the employees.

Pros

It was flexibility and diversity but this has taken a shift.

Cons

A lot of management bullies in LBB, most managers in SPC have never done the work so they don’t understand the time needed for certain projects, also severely understaffed with no real training very sink or swim.
