Pros

Good investment in technology Good first job in radio

Cons

Management have very little radio experience in the real radio industry and thus lack the skills both in radio creation and management Click / Cult work culture. Sometimes toxic. No effort from management to motivate teams or create a positive atmosphere. Very much a feel of top down military authoritarianism. Too many layers of management. A lot of MOD money could be saved by streamlining a very outdated organisational structure They seem to offer fixed term contracts initially to scope you out. If you don't fit into the 'click' they'll find every excuse possible not to move you to a staff position New starters are given very little support or any proper introduction / explanation of the brand Radio presenters are treated as inferior and paid appalingly considering the sacrifices that are expected of them. As a result the most skilled don't seem to stay for long resulting in the standard of remaining on-air presenters being quite poor While most presenters are on mobile contracts, a select few seem to be allowed to stay in the UK whereas others are made to live on military bases overseas

Pros

I really enjoyed my time here, really welcoming staff and team. In terms of actual projects, it took a while to get off the ground but they were really impactful.

Cons

The projects are slow to get off the ground
