They take 1/2 the money clients pay. There is a pay cap so no matter how well you do, once you meet that cap (which I met within 1 year) the only way to ever increase your pay is to take on more clients. They constantly try to upsell to clients which often makes clients feel put off. Your CSC who works above you as a liaison to the client, often tries to do what benefits the client and not the contractor. They say you set your own hours, but often I'm taking calls and working all the time even on nights and weekends depending on the needs of the client.
