Pros
Work/life balance is great, pension & benefits are pretty good, and overall you're pretty free to build your own network and schedule while using the company's resources. You will meet a lot of great people and learn even more about the Credit process. I enjoyed my time at the bank.
Cons
Leadership is weak. VP level is out-of-touch with the day-to-day and internal processes are out-dated and time-consuming which is frustrating. You can't just work the 9-5 and succeed in this role, it takes much more than that (without compensation). It takes a long time for things to get done. Takes a while to move up with very little increase in pay as the higher you climb, the more tasks you take on.
