Pros

Might get posted in your home town and nothing else

Cons

These are followings. 1. Very less salary compared to the magnitude of competitive exam and Interview you have qualified. 2. No special allowances or Perks which are provided in other major PSUs. 3. No specific work assigned. Whatever work comes, you need to do it. 4. Almost negligible manpower against the vastness of Project. 5. Multiple companies are involved in the project execution...so need to be mentally prepared for the blame game. 6. Project is totally rural based and lack of manpower here. Therefore, field tour lasts always more than two weeks. 7. As this PSU is entirely new one, no proper setup is available at the offices.

Pros

1) work timings, but there are work pressure in those timings. 2) Linient work environment. 3) Nothing else

Cons

1) No Improvement in the form of Learning 2) Bond of Rs. 3 Lacs for 2 years - This may not sound that bad, but this is going to destroy your career. If you enter this job, you won't leave it for 2 years because of the bond amount & then after working for 2 years noone else is going to employ you because you haven't learned anything. 3) Lack of Man Power - Senior Management doesn't know how to allocate work & recruit more person. Everyone has a laid back attitude. 4) Lack of Growth & Increments - Every PSU has a salary increase of just 3% annually irrespective of your performance. 5) Senior Management - everyone from the CMD to the Staff are on deputation basis, so are not really concerned about where the organization is heading. They're going to work on the same set principles & leave after 2-3 years. Noone is here for the long term.
