Pros

The CEO is a good man. He gives good training, however, it is not worth the $400/month "internship"- a 3-month period. Also, when someone is "let go" the President (a "dirty" businessman) buys lunch- which is considerably often so I would say there are many free lunches (however still not worth $400/month for 3 months).

Cons

An overall bad experience dealing with unprofessional management. Some of them are racist, homophobic and openly rude to other employees. You can tell the morale is low as seen through the more senior employees. No one has worked there for more than 3 years and already they constantly look tired and burnt out. I feel sorry for them. You can tell by looking at them that this is not somewhere you would want to build a career. There is also little room for career growth as management does not invest in their employees. The company is small and forced into a two window "bachelor" like apartment. They claim to be flexible but this is not true. There is no work-life balance. If you take time-off you will likely be "let go" due to "corporate restructuring" but from what I know, things have stayed the same for years. They preach about their success (which occurred one year a few years ago (past employees refer to this as the fluke year)- they have not seen this kind of success since. As well, the President likes to micro-manage employees, stability is non existent and the turnover rate is incredible high. Finally, there are issues with the company paying what they owe employees. They paint a glamorous picture of salary plus commission but in reality they almost never pay commission where commission is due. Needless to say your hard work will not pay off. They are currently dealing with multiple legal issues with past employees. There is another reason for this- perhaps they are not dirty and merely poor and going under..but in that case, it is another reason not to work with or work for BBG Management.

Pros

BBG is growing their client base and increasing their revenue. They really are going places. They now have mature processes in place for each part of the business. They now have a profit sharing plan and offer stock options, which is huge given their expected annual revenue growth. Employees at BBG have an exciting opportunity to make great money. The CEO keeps all employees informed on business progress and business development activities. He also spends significant time to help bring everyone up to speed on their respective roles.

Cons

Compensation is performance based. Some people excel at this type of opportunity, some people have trouble.

Pros

This company is growing its customer base and expanding. They have matured their processes and approach to help both the recruiters and the clients. The CEO is rolling out employee handbooks, and guides so everyone understands the commission structure. They are giving visibility to the monthly placement wins so each person understands how their commission is building. They are even considering a profit sharing plan.

Cons

This is a performance based organization. Many small companies are like this and it does inject some pressure. But these are also the companies that grow with a plan and then achieve their plan.
