Pros
Flexible working hours. Good holiday entitlement. Strong Union presence means generous annual inflation pay increase across entire workforce. Fairly interesting work.
Cons
Upper management hugely detached from the rest of workforce. Prioritise meeting metrics and short term targets rather than doing the job right first time. Lots of politics. High performance isn't rewarded through pay rises and/or promotion (despite having annual performance reviews). Lots of high performing employees move elsewhere, leaving huge voids and disruption.
