Pros

I was originally employee #6 and worked at BA from 2008-2013. I left late in 2013 to pursue a management opportunity. Recently, an opportunity presented itself for me to return to BA. I jumped at the chance. I returned because I believe in the technology and I believe in the people. On the technology side, O365 presents an opportunity for explosive revenue growth for BA. On the people side, BA is filled with brilliant people who care.

Cons

The only con I have is the comp plan could be more aggressive. But, the huge benefit of being happy and working for an organization that promotes a healthy work/life balance easily outweighs the negative

Pros

I came from a large (100,000+ employee) corporation, where decisions were slow, and direction was not always clear. Not so at BA Insight, I like that. The leadership team at BA Insight has a lot of experience. They make sound and timely decisions based on that experience. On top of just being decisive, they are approachable. They are will share the decision making process, so that one can grow and learn from them. This is a company trait I find invaluable as a recently appointed manager. But it's not all "Direction from above." As we find areas to improve, the leadership will take input from the team. If you have a problem to solve, will let you develop your own plan to solve it, with advice available as needed. The best thing about BA Insight, though, are the individuals who work here. And I don't mean just the leadership team, but everyone. To a "T" they are smart people, who collaborate well, bringing great things to our customers.

Cons

On some days, it's the commute to downtown Boston. But the liberal Work-From-Home policy makes up for it.
