Pros

Great place to work for engineers looking to make a real-world impact with sustainable design and energy consulting, and for solving complex and diverse sets of problems using strong engineering principles. B2Q specializes in delivering thorough and high quality engineering solutions for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems. Management provides excellent mentorship and inspires junior engineers to grow professionally. Overall great place to work with incredible flexibility for a hybrid-remote lifestyle.

Cons

As a smaller company, individuals must be flexible and willing to work on a variety of tasks that may not always be related to engineering or direct project work.

Pros

B2Q really does care for their employees, and will invest in your development through trainings and mentorship! Senior staff at B2Q has always been helpful and provide support every step of the way, and are always receptive to new ideas and concerns. I’ve even had the opportunity to do way more in my field than I ever have in the past 6 years I’ve worked in the industry! Very grateful to be a B2Q employee!

Cons

With the amount of work received and with continued improvements to services, it does take a lot of time out of your schedule and can take a toll on work-life balance. It may sometimes lead to days or weeks of long work hours.

Pros

Transparent and approachable leadership: Senior management is honest, communicative, and genuinely invested in employees' development. Challenging, high-impact projects: You’re trusted with real responsibility early on and exposed to a wide variety of clients and project types. No two days are the same. Career growth: B2Q gives early-career professionals the chance to grow quickly. There’s a lot of mentorship and opportunity to take ownership if you show initiative. Supportive culture: The team is collaborative and willing to help.

Cons

Like any fast-paced consulting firm, things can get busy. Time management is important, especially when juggling multiple projects.
