Pros

There are genuinely nice people that work there many of them stuck in their position because of the economy.

Cons

Where to begin....I worked for this company for several years. They are more worried about timing exempt and non - exempt employees lunch breaks than how much an individual contributes to the company. The people that are still there from when it was McGaw are grandfathered in to whatever job they want. Even if you are an engineer you can become the head of clinical affairs even if you have no medical background. In most companies this position is held by either a nurse or doctor. HR is really a piece of work in this place. I saw in a previous review a mention of leaked confidential info, that is absolutely true. They can't keep there big gossipy mouths shut. The funny thing is the employees often get written up for speaking about the confidential info that their HR rep told them in the first place The turnover rate is phenomenal largely because there is always someone being targeted by HR. The whole dept should be fired and replaced with competent staff. Many of these people are also "oldtimers" that have been grandfathered in to their positions. Just a word of advice if you are accused of something by one of these dinosaurs HR will take their side...they belong to a special little group and will never let you forget it. If it is something you had nothing to do with you will immediately be accused of being defensive. There is no true care or understanding for the employees. You are peons that cannot possibly be equal to them.

Pros

Great company, pay, and work life balance. A great way to transition out of bedside nursing.

Cons

Travel all over the US two weeks out of the month as a part time employee so you have to know that going in.

Pros

Not really much to say other then that if you like working 12 hours a day just for only 3 days in one week and then 4 days the next week, you're not really making enough to cover income.

Cons

Not guaranteed overtime. You could sign up for it and the odds of getting it is very limited. Not guaranteed to get hired on and they could end assignments anytime. You don't make that great of a pay and even if you do get hired on, your options are very limited when it comes to be certified in different areas and you don't have a choice to where you want to be, you end up being in a position that you don't like due to poor management.
