Pros

The staff was great, the work was easy because there are extremely low standards. No pressure to do a good job since all of the clients don't expect much.

Cons

The owner Kevin is a sociopath that shouldn't be allowed to have employees. He is the cheapest person I have ever met, and that is saying a lot. I don't know if he is worse to his employees or his customers. There were times where I felt like there must be hidden cameras documenting the demented reality of the situation. It was like Office Space if it was directed by David Lynch. Nuts indeed.

Pros

Aztech takes on a lot of unique projects from all over Portland. Every day is different. The shop has a lot of advanced equipment and an unlimited amount of creative space to complete projects. The staff is really supportive and easy to bond with. The owner has been in the business a really long time making him a good mentor. The starting pay is great and the owner is really flexible when it comes to lunch breaks and time off.

Cons

The production schedule isn't always clear. Some mornings you have to wait for verbal instructions from the owner or other staff before starting production.

Pros

They offered a high starting pay. The manager was nice and seemed very professional.

Cons

The building is falling apart. There were holes in the ceiling and exposed pipes. The machines are failing or out of order. The programs and computers were very cheap and didn't work very well. The estimate and order system was the cheapest, least easy to use version of cyrious. And to top it all off the company art files were in complete disarray, making even the simplest order almost impossible to get right. The area is also dangerous as I was harassed on the way home on day one. If you don't have a car or a reliable ride home don't bother.
