Pros

Azend is more than just a tech company. They're a group of creative innovators working on astonishing projects that'll make you excited to wake up and work. Their passion for engineering, technology, and science is inspiring. You'll be working alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry who are constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible. From building cutting-edge engineering systems to developing software for bleeding-edge scientific research, the projects at Azend will keep you engaged and challenged. Plus, the products you'll be working on have regional and global potential, meaning you'll be making a real impact on the world. One thing that sets Azend apart from other companies is their culture. The team is dedicated and enthusiastic, making it a pleasure to work alongside them. The company values your contributions and rewards you for them, so you know your efforts won't go unnoticed. Overall, Azend is the place to be if you're looking for an exciting and innovative workplace where you can grow your skills as an engineer and technologist. With a hybrid environment and fantastic management, you'll feel comfortable and supported every step of the way.

Cons

The only con that comes to mind comes with the nature of a hybrid environment. Working from home can impact how much you physically move on average. Going on walks or working out is a simple fix!

Pros

Overall good Learning oppurtunities. Work from home benefit.

Cons

I hate how some of the leads treat employees during stand ups and team calls, especially the project manager and tech lead. The PM expects employees to work during their personal time, including after work hours and on weekends, without any compensation. There is also not enough increment or appreciation for our work. No matter how hard we’ve worked in the past to meet deadlines, they never seem to remember it. They only focus on the present. It feels like, no matter what happens to us, they only care about the outcome. Also, the PM doesn’t even know how to properly ask people to work extra hours it feels more like a threat than a request. Because of some leads, the entire team has become toxic, and there is a lot of internal politics. This situation is mainly caused by them. If there is a heavy workload, they don’t even try to hire more people; instead, they push existing employees as much as they can. The CEO is actually a good person.

Pros

A good place for interns to gain experience, especially when involved in main company projects. Senior SEs and Lead SE are friendly, approachable, and happy to help when available. Opportunities to learn new skills and grow if you are proactive. Offers work-from-home; only need to attend sprint planning mostly once or twice a week. CEO is approachable and friendly. Clear career ladder if you perform well.

Cons

Started as an Intern SE and promoted to Associate Software Engineer (ASE) after 1 year, with a salary increment of about 15,000. Project deadlines can sometimes be extremely tight, making work stressful. Working from home can blur boundaries; it can feel like there is no time off. You need strong skills or must quickly develop them to manage high-pressure periods. Even interns may face criticism from project managers or VPs for small mistakes. Salaries at the junior level are lower than industry standards.
