Unfortunate Review - Anonymous employee Ayuda Employee Review

Work/Life Balance; Microaggressions; Macroaggressions; Racism; Favoritism; Hostile Work Environment Managment/Leadership/Directors are all problematic. They micromanage and have unrealistic expectations of "junior employees" who are paid unlivable wages. Managers and directors create hostile work environments, and are never reprimanded or let go of; instead the employee who complained is seen as problematic for bringing forth issues to HR Director. All leadership touts Diversity and Inclusion and talks about the training they have done to understand that, but then only promote White employees and give opportunities to white employees. Members of the community are not valued or heard, and instead leadership dismisses their concerns/suggestions to better the work environment. Ayuda's "strive for diversity" is performative and they do not provide employees with the tools nor support to thrive. ED is problematic and sends emails about their European Summer-while their front-line are struggling to afford basic necessities like rent and food. When employees ask for raises, the budget is tight. However Leadership (managers and directors) is constantly getting more pay. Leadership pushses people of color out by labeling them as problematic and create hostile work environments by speaking down to "lower level" employees, Leadership sends emails during vacation or time off or afterhours, creating the expectation for employees to be available at all times. Management encourages employees to "take time off" and take care of themselves, but makes it extremely difficult for employees to take time off as management makes employees find coverage, or finish all their work before they leave. Not enough resources or support for employees.
