Pros

Payout grid higher than most - $75000 in investment and planning production starts at a 85% payout. No "Manager" - You run your business as you wish. There are not sales quotas. Continued Education - They really do want the advisors to move toward the advisor, Fee for Planning side of the business. They are many opportunities to learn more about the industry and improve your business. Wealth Planning Group - SPC has built a wealth planning group that is part of our affiliation fee. Call, email, or create a Zendesk ticket with all the different questions about planning.

Cons

Slow on the tech rollout. We are still waiting for Docusign paperwork for many areas such as fee for planning. Starting to nickel and dime us. The monthly affiliation fee is fine and includes a good amount of resources, however, they are starting to make us pay for more software such as AdvicePay (it is positive we have advice pay).

Pros

Payout is very good for the industry I believe. They have a case planning department that will help with case design as part of your affiliation.

Cons

As with many larger BD, RIA, compliance can rule the roost however that is the nature of the game. I am not a "corporate" type at all but I do believe they try their best and provide a family like atmosphere.

Pros

I believe Sigma has a much better balance of life than most financial firms. The management cares about staff and shows it through solid employee benefits, a unique bonus program (vChips), a quarterly corporate bonus pool, paying for the cost of college and industry training, and holding a number of fun team building events throughout the year. The vast majority of the staff and management team are really great people making it Sigma enjoyable place to work with a truly amazing corporate culture.

Cons

The firm has grown considerably over the years however, it's partially stuck between the way things have been done for years and at times is slow to try what may be new "best practices" in a few areas.
