Axos reminds me of Wall Street in the 90s, the culture is very much work long hours and you were always reminded that this was not a 40 hour work environment. However I found that I was put on projects that were just "busy work." Pushing papers just to say that you put in a 60 hour week, because the more hours you work the "harder" you are working. People who did not work extra hours would be called "soft."
Additional working with the CEO was like walking on egg shells, everyone was afraid to voice their suggestions because if he was not on-board you were at risk of losing your job. He obviously is a good business man however always need to hear that he was right and never was open to anyone's opinions.
