Pros
The company is established (nearly 30 years in business) with standout clients. You don't run into the normal nonsense and politics that happen at startups in Boston. In addition, the company really embraces a flexible environment - working from home, flexible schedules, casual dress, etc. As long as your work is done well and on time, they trust their employees to make good decisions for themselves and the business as a whole. The vacation policy is also generous, and unlike at other tech companies, you can actually take time off and enjoy it without feeling guilty or dealing with interruptions from the office. Paid parental leave was also rolled out last year - a huge plus.
Cons
Like any tech company, you'll deal with client demands, deadlines, and changes in product strategy when the unexpected pops up, but you'll encounter that anywhere.
