Pros

I feel very supported and valued at this company. They work very hard to maintain work life balance and are always ready to invest in your career goals.

Cons

Being a startup for a long time means that staffing has been historically a bit low. Would like to see more diversity especially in management.

Pros

AwardSpring offers its employees a tremendous opportunity to make an impact in the lives of many, all while ensuring each individual employee has opportunities to stretch their knowledge and skills. As a provider of Scholarship Management solutions to higher education and non-profits, we get to see our platform be a direct part of the path for students to attain their education goals - an extremely high-value proposition. Furthermore, we get to see the value delivered to our clients daily, through growth of their scholarship offerings to efficiencies in their day-to-day. Finally, we get to work with tremendously passionate, loyal and thoughtful peers who care about each other and our customers. We do this all while working hard to balance life and work, knowing that there's more to life than what you do from 9a-5p on weekdays.

Cons

As a small but growing business, we lack significant size or "org chart" structure. Everyone gets to contribute directly to the success of the business, but if you're motivated by large companies with lots of layers of structure and titles, we'll miss the mark. Working in a small, growth-oriented business can have its drawbacks for some.
