Pros
Not as demanding as a larger firm or bulge bracket
Nashville is pretty cool, and no where near as congested as some of the larger cities like NY or Chicago
Pretty laid back atmosphere, business casual dress, open door policy
Freedom to go your own direction
Good place to get started and learn
Cons
Revenues have been declining ever since I joined.
Lots of turnover
Excess overhead. There are areas with duplicative managerial roles.
Pay is sub par, but ok considering Nashville isn't terribly expensive to live in
Only two toilets in the office with ~50 guys makes it tough to get a seat when needed.
Focused pretty heavily on healthcare, makes expanding coverage in other industries more challenging
