Pros
I have been with Avitus Group for over 6 years. Over that time I've seen tremendous growth within the company and within myself. As a female in the company and after I saw the last post I wanted to give honest feedback from an employee who has been here for 6+ years (not one who's been there under a year), and have been give the support and autonomy to work with my members, enhance my personal and professional growth, and have a great team behind me (not just the HR team, but the entire company as a whole).
Avitus Group did in fact start in Billings, Montana. And in a short 20 years has grown to be nationwide with offices in Florida, New Jersey, California, Denver, Anchorage, etc. When I started in 2011 there were under 100 employees, and now we have over 300 incredibly talented people on our team. To me that says a company is doing something right. Sure, there are growing pains. Any company that has tremendous growth will have them. We learn from the pains & issues, and become a better company because of them. Every company has competitors, but I believe our company stands out from the crowd and sets us apart from the large PEOs where you're just a number. I know each of my clients by name and I've met a large portion of their employees.
I enjoy coming to work every single day for the past 6 years, and I 100% look forward to my future professional growth with Avitus Group and the growth of the company as a whole. It has been incredibly exciting to watch the Denver office be a handful of people to now becoming the company's headquarters with 30 employees and growing.
People who complain on here about a company were clearly not a good fit, as the people who want to work hard, learn a ton, be part of growth, work through the hard times, and enjoy the good times - are still around and passionate about they do. If you are just planning on collecting a paycheck and getting by then I can tell you Avitus Group absolutely is not the company for you. We are held to high standards, and I hold the company to standards equally as high.
Cons
With tremendous growth comes growing pains. We need to continue to work through them and continue to be the best company we can. I know we are in the midst of a software/technology upgrade and that's my biggest complaint - being behind the times a bit, but we are making massive headway.
