Pros

Friendly colleagues, can learn some new skills

Cons

No annual leave / medical insurance for probation. Boss tend to extend probations, and keep changing what he said prior ( need to be mindful of that) Low starting salary with minimal to no wfh privilege ( not what was promised during interview) Bad office location (peak jam hours at 6pm), will stuck for hours on road

Probations are extended due to subpar performance. Other benefits described are misleading and unfounded.

Pros

Ideal for beginners and interns. Plenty of opportunity to get your hands dirty with the real stuff. The company makes a good effort to enhance unity among staff. A smart and skillful CTO who is a good mentor.

Cons

The highest management lacks EQ, leadership, and decision-making skills (often oscillating between judgment and hearsay) and hires and fires based on whim. Feedback is used to attack the reviewers rather than owning up to their mistakes and improving.

Thanks for your feedback. We are glad that you enjoy your time at Avinity Analytics, however some points are misrepresented and are found to be false: 1. As an innovative AI and Data company, we deliver projects that adopt the latest technology innovations. Our current R&D areas - AI Agent Ochestration, Context Architecture Design, Augmented Analytics (Structured data) are leading technologies that require constant innovation and exploration. As junior members upskill and gain experience, they will be involved in these projects that require higher level of expertise and experience. 2. Our highest management is not involved in the hiring of graduates and juniors. Furthermore, any hiring and firing of employees are decided jointly by the supervisor and management team. No individual has the authority to make these decisions on their own. 3. We have implemented an official Modern Slavery policy, headed by a non-management employee, who is responsible for any mistreatment and unfair decisions. An anonymous channel has been setup to facilitate this based on employee feedback. 4. Our Avinity office culture is to promote individual growth both technical and interpersonal. Appraisals, alignment sessions are positive criticisms and carried out without negative and derogartory tone and language. To anyone reading this: please do not take this former employee's accounts, or our employer response at face value. We welcome you to reach out to anyone at Avinity Analytics to verify the claims above. To former employee - We encourage you to focus on building your individual competence and technical capabilities, as these are what will sustain a healthy and growing career. Resist the urge to engage in office politics, badmouthing, or slander. A victim mindset frames every problem as external and none as your own, a mindset that limits growth. Although your time with us didn't work out, we wish you the best in your career, and hope you're able to resolve these internal issues for the better.

Pros

AA Review I've worked at Avinity for around a year, and my experience has been largely positive. The atmosphere is supportive, with friendly colleagues and leadership that truly cares about employee well-being. It's heartwarming to see management actively improving our experience—like having breakfast on your desk when you arrive with an empty stomach. One of the highlights of the week is the team lunch provided by Avinity, which I always look forward to. In terms of work, I feel empowered and valued. My opinions are taken seriously, and I feel driven in my projects because leaders consistently check in to offer help and support whenever needed. One notable aspect for a company of Avinity’s size is the presence of a neutral person dedicated to ensuring no one faces discrimination and that our rights are protected. It's reassuring to know that there's someone we can turn to with any complaints or concerns. Overall, AA fosters an environment where I feel free to learn, grow, and develop myself professionally.

Cons
