Pros
We are working with a technology stack that is exciting, challenging and generating skills for us that are quite valuable. Management is honorable, forthcoming, knowledgeable and empathetic. The company is doing very well and the outlook is bright financially as well as in career growth opportunities. The whole IT team is a pleasure to work with and I would consider them all friends. With the fantastic amount of talent in IT, it is a place where an individual of any skill level can learn and grow. Realistic expectations and sound processes makes the work sustainable and never puts more pressure on us than we can handle reasonably unlike many other past positions I have been in. I hope to make this my home indefinitely.
Cons
Medical benefits are not fantastic, but are competitive in today's market. There currently is no 401k matching, but it is an issue high on management radar.
