My relationship with Avesta Computer Services goes back a couple of decades when they hired me from India and helped me get my first break in the US job market.
At a time when the temporary/contract placement industry had a terrible reputation of mistreating immigrant employees, Avesta created a brand for being a role-model for how such firms should operate instead. They took care of all my immigration paperwork, applied for my green card, helped me find good housing, had an excellent benefits package, vacation policies, and paid full salary & benefits while I was on bench.
I worked for them for 5 years during which time Avesta always provided me all the support and help I needed in adjusting to a new country and work environment.
The employment opportunities my time with Avesta provided me became a great launching pad in building a rewarding career at top-tier investment banks and financial services firms in NY.
The relations I forged with the senior management team at Avesta have stood up wonderfully to the test of time. Even to this day, I can count on them for being there if I need anything.
