      • Reputable company that is well-positioned as a top procurement leader in the Hospitality industry • Exposure working with both Suppliers (i.e. manufacturers, distributors) and Clients (i.e. Hotel management companies, properties, etc.) • Solid opportunities for career growth and advancement (varies by department) • Forward-thinking executive team/management in terms of growth and expansion for the company • Focus on high level of collaboration and communication between associates and company partners (i.e. suppliers and clients) • Strong commitment to professional growth and development of associates • Extremely knowledgeable and experienced associate base • Fast-paced, dynamic work environment • Generous benefits/compensation package for associates • Overall high quality of facilities/resources on site

      Cons

      • Nature of business can sometimes result in high-pressure, demanding situations (which may be also viewed as a “Pro”) • Some company policies are very structured and process-oriented which can be difficult to manage at times • Lack of incentive/motivation to over-exceed expectations in some cases

I am glad you mentioned the opportunities for learning and growth for our associates.       - Coworkers are pretty friendly and try to support each other despite the environment - Some departments/managers are more flexible than others, allowing for reasonable work-life balance — though this is not consistent company-wide

      Cons

      Like many of the recent reviews, I share the sentiment that Aramark’s acquisition and influence over Avendra have significantly eroded what was once a strong and respectable company. I firmly advise against working for an organization plagued by toxic management who lack morality and transparency, Merit increases are negligible, with a standard 2% raise that fails to keep pace with inflation, let alone the rising cost of living. Advancement and recognition are often based on favoritism and internal politics rather than performance, creating a disheartening and inequitable work environment.
