Pros
1 sometimes 2 “free dinners” a year
Cons
Working as a contractor through this agency has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. Contractors are paid significantly less than their full-time counterparts, due to the agency taking an excessive cut (around 60%) for themselves.
One of the most concerning aspects is the constant “carrot on a stick” approach. You are repeatedly told that achieving certain milestones or certifications will result in a pay rise, only for those goalposts to be moved later. This agency also misrepresented my salary to new recruits.
There is also a clear lack of genuine care for contractors. While they present themselves as supportive, it quickly becomes apparent that this is more for appearance than reality. When issues arise, there is little to no meaningful assistance.
The agency is also known to rely on technicalities and fine print to avoid delivering on benefits that were implied or discussed upfront. This lack of transparency erodes trust and makes it difficult to feel valued.
On top of that, reimbursements are often delayed and, at times, incorrect, adding unnecessary stress and requiring constant follow-up.
Overall, this agency prioritises its own margins over the wellbeing and fair treatment of its contractors. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before engaging with them.
