Pros

If you really want to learn how to get things done and how to music business works, go work here. Joining Avatar for me was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. Because it opened my eyes, it made me see what I want to achieve in this world. CEO Larry Robinson is a super interesting and inspiring person, everything you want to know about the music industry, he can tell and explain it to you. It's not a internship where you can laid back and enjoy the sun in Los Angeles, you have to work hard all the time. But in the end, you will have an experience that some other students can only dream of.

Cons

If people think they didn't learn enough at Avatar Records, they can full blame themselves. Yes, if you don't put enough work and effort in the company then they won't put that much effort and work into you. But if you work hard and show you are ready to learn things, then the people at Avatar Records can teach you everything you want to know.

Pros

Being part of Avatar made me feel like I was part of a family. My bosses were so nice and generous! You can tell they genuinely care and want you to be successful professionally! I loved the relationship I had with both my bosses, I got to work closely with them and learn directly from them which enhanced my film and music knowledge greatly! I loved the diverse jobs I had to do, editing reels, creating resumes, scheduling appointments, answering phones, attending to meetings with renowned producers and overseeing a ADR session in a recording studio! I can't thank them enough for all that they have taught me and done for me!

Cons

I can't think of a con.

Pros

Great working environment, everyone helps each other out and the work is never dull. Management always offer constructive feedback, interns are given a good level of responsibility and we are encouraged to input our ideas and suggestions.

Cons

The office dog, who clocks in once a week or so, regularly shakes his mouth slime all over the work spaces and causes minor earthquakes whenever it sits down. That said, the dog is a valuable member of the team and is very friendly.
