6yI appreciate your feedback and sorry to hear you felt that way. We are very upfront and integrity is our #1 core value. Although everyone at the company works hard, we certainly do not take advantage of our people as they are all "at will" employees, and we really try to make everyone feel like they are valued and appreciated. Most of our employees have been here over 6 months and seem to really enjoy working here and feel like they are learning and growing.
As far as compensation goes, that usually is something that is discussed with management and HR on a 1-on-1 basis and employees don't usually openly discuss. However, we do have current employees that are on a base + commission structure, but most of our top people are on a commission + bonus structure because they make more money that way. I'm assuming you were only here for a day or or so though, because once someone successfully completes training we go over what compensation model they want to be on and everyone is eligible for the base option at that point if they want to choose it. In addition, we do offer gas reimbursement for full-time employees who are in good standing with the company, as well as many other incentives and benefits that maybe you weren't aware of because you weren't here long enough.
I'm not sure why you struggled so much, most of current employees do not have that difficult of a time and if they are struggling for some reason we make sure to get them the extra help and training they need to succeed. We are also usually very selective in who we hire and specifically do 3 rounds of interviews so that we can make sure the candidates clearly understand the role and position, and also so that we as a company can determine if we want to hire them. However, we are not perfect and occasionally hire people that aren't a good fit which it sounds like was true in your case.
