Pros

Continuously improving tech stack that exposes developers to a wide range of languages, frameworks, and front and back end development. Management is highly focused on ensuring you are reaching your goals in the company. Whether that means you want to focus on back end Java development, or focus on React, or Node, or anything else in the stack, you have a lot of control over what you want to focus on and when. The work-life balance at Availity is incredible, and the culture is fantastic.

Cons

The healthcare industry is not always the most exciting area to develop in.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a great review. We are a continuous improvement company, and we love that our associates are constantly working to make us better. This mindset is good for our culture and our customers. Each year, we clearly define goals at the individual, project, and enterprise levels that support our North Star to build a more efficient healthcare system for everyone. Finding a healthy work-life balance is so important to our associates. It’s also a priority for Availity leadership to help our associates achieve it. We offer several wellness programs—mental and physical—and strongly encourage our teams to use their unlimited PTO to recharge. The healthcare industry may not always be the most exciting, but the opportunities to make a difference and improve healthcare delivery for millions of Americans are endless. If you’re looking for a career with purpose – Availity is the place for you! Again, thank you for your comments. We are thrilled to have you on our team!

Pros

Great culture and people. As long as you’re doing your job and producing, I have not run into any micromanaging etc. work life balance is awesome

Cons

Silo’s are common but getting better each day. That can happen with remote companies. Lots of new products and changes with new leadership etc so need to adapt
