Pros

Availity has been super supportive and encouraging during my on-boarding and training. They provider multiple channels of getting information. I'm amazed at how well they were able to interview, hire, ob-board, and train new employees all while staying home during the Pandemic.

Cons

Sometimes response to questions can be a little slow, but that is mostly due to remoteness. The remote on-boarding has also made it feel a little less that you are port of an organization. But, I can't honestly think of how to improve this.

As you can imagine, our HR and technology teams put a lot of work into changing this process during the pandemic, and they’ll be excited to see this! Honestly, we can’t imagine how it feels to join Availity while fully remote—it’s probably a little strange. But please know that you are part of something bigger, and there are so many smart, talented people here just waiting to get to know you and welcome you to the Availity family. Hopefully, through our associate communications, Unplugged Video series, and interactions with your new team, you feel some connection and sense of our culture. We can feel the pressure of taking those first calls in your advice to management—that’s completely normal. We try to offer the most comprehensive training we can on our products and processes so that associates feel prepared to handle the questions and requests that come in from the call center. However, no amount of training will apply to every possible scenario, and we’ve found that the best way to learn is by jumping in. We have people in place to support our new client service associates when they need help assisting callers, and we know that getting everything down takes time and practice. Pros

Great culture and people. As long as you’re doing your job and producing, I have not run into any micromanaging etc. work life balance is awesome

Cons

Silo’s are common but getting better each day. That can happen with remote companies. Lots of new products and changes with new leadership etc so need to adapt
