6ySometimes, as part of the hiring process there can be a misalignment of skillset to the role. If this is realized early on it is only fair for all parties to terminate employment sooner, rather than later. This is better than trying to force someone into a role that they would not be able to be successful in. To be fair in this situation we provided the employee a higher than normal severance package to allow them time to get back on their feet. It’s unfortunate and we like to avoid this from happening, but, it's critical that both parties to the hiring process clearly understand the capabilities match for success in a role to avoid such an unfortunate circumstance.
