Pros

The money is decent, but that’s only because you’re on 7-9 accounts at a time.

Cons

The CEO is certifiable, there is no structure/guidance and the turnover rate is shockingly high, even for PR. Most employees are on at least 8 accounts and the expectations are almost impossible to meet due to the poor quality of the accounts. The behavior of the agency owners fosters a catty and competitive work culture that makes every employee miserable. You are expected to gladly take calls after work hours, and you can expect at least 1 nasty email per week chastising you for something that is likely either out of your control or the fault of someone else. There’s a chance you’ll work on some cool brands, but most will be lame and you’ll get screamed at for not getting placements. If you’re targeted, expect a couple weeks of harassment by senior management. A work/life balance is virtually nonexistent, so if you value your social life you can kiss it goodbye because congrats, you no longer have one. Favoritism is abundant, particularly with mid-level staff who delegate all of their work to junior staff, and despite countless complaints from said staff, still get away with it after 3+ years of employment. This place is abusive, run by a woman with the attention span and intelligence of a fruit fly who has zero respect for her employees. The grass is far greener elsewhere, so I suggest you run far, far away.

Pros

Access to negotiating celebrity deals and working directly with top-tier influencers; opportunities to attend and support client events alongside talent; Talent and Creator division feels like a close-knit community within the agency.

Cons

Have to balance multiple accounts at once but definitely manageable.

Pros

Made some great friends and built a support system.

Cons

I would not recommend working here. The lack of support, empathy, and overall professionalism was really disappointing. If you’re interested in PR or agency work, I strongly suggest exploring other environments where there is more structure and mentorship. This is not an ideal place to “try out” the industry. Mistakes are not treated as learning opportunities, and the culture can feel very negative at times. There’s a noticeable lack of internal support systems, including HR, which makes it difficult to address concerns or see meaningful change. Growth and development are also not clearly supported. When I asked for a review after six months, I was told no, and there wasn’t much guidance or tracking of progress unless you took full ownership of it yourself. The environment can be very high-pressure, and while that can build resilience, it often comes without the support needed to succeed. Overall, I think there are much healthier and more constructive workplaces for people looking to grow in this field.
