Pros

As a Field Manager you worked independently & did not have to work in an office near the nitwits in management.

Cons

As a Field Manager, you are required to use your own vehicle & given very little in reimbursement to cover fuel, maintenance, & wear. The company uses an outsource company named Runzheimer to come up with the different levels of reimbursement based on where an individual lives. In each scenario, Runzheimer's figures only benefit Autovin & not the Field Manager. Autovin is also contracted by several banks & finance companies to perform inventory audits & end of lease vehicle inspections. The procedures for each client differ & change so often. It is virtually impossible to remember all the different procedures. Management states that the software guides you in remembering the procedures, but they never updated the software with new procedures & when an error is made they always blame it on the Field Manager & never question their IT department.

Pros

Pretty flexible environment. Protocols and shifts were always changing. The employees there were a lot of fun to be around.

Cons

Pay. Some of the Field Managers were incredibly unprofessional to the office staff in Carmel.

Pros

- independent work - benefits

Cons

Implement promotions for employees who demonstrate commitment and initiative in their roles, while addressing the lack of motivation among those who are not engaged or seeking advancement. It is not fair that a high volume producer can make the same as some lower inspectors and expect to stay with the company when nothing is offered. - High Turnover Rate: Frequent staff changes can lead to instability and uncertainty within teams. - Management Issues: Some employees report a lack of effective leadership and communication from upper management. - Limited Career Advancement: Opportunities for promotion and career growth may be limited or unclear. -Inconsistent Policies: Discrepancies in company policies and procedures can create confusion among employees. - Pay : Merrits are not great for a field inspector. HR head during a zoom call explained how the merit scale worked for the 3 tiers and highest was suppose to get between 5-10%, never happened.m, raise is 2-3%. Do not aim to be a high volume producer, no incentives and they'll just add more work. - No allocation pay: Higher cost states do not get paid more for living adjustment's.
