Pros

Their are some individual people that work here who are awesome (mostly bonded due to the negativity in the company) 😅 Free breakfast - Only on Office days (Even then sometimes you are just left with scraps and reminded of how much of a peasant you are within the company Free lunch - but mostly gets taken people who have no consideration of everyone else and only want to fill their own stomachs Great new office Little perks - travel scheme, health insurance, £25 Uber eat vouchers every month, Bonusly rewards, Little Events throughout the year

Cons

Where can I start from.............................. Let's start from the top where the CEO (even though we have been taken over by Uber) is still stuck in his old ways as if it's their family owned business. He thinks as if he's living in a dream world where the business is just running by itself and setting the most ridiculous targets when everyone knows they are not achievable. An example of his fine work we were fully remote in lockdown and this was going to be the norm going forward (flexible working). But at the same time, he buys a giant new office in town. Such a stupid decision when we don't even fill half of it and are remote! So now he's stuck with this big empty office, and of course we all have to go back to commuting so he doesn't look like an idiot. Next we have the executive Team all I'm going to say is that these are equivalent to Harry Maguire at United, expensive, does nothing and damages his own team. Their situation is the same as the CEO where they all live in Dream world and La la land and think their operations, system updates and their road map is all perfect and have no faults or holes in them where in fact they have never once spoken to Support to see what went wrong or what can be improved as that team takes the most stick from the company and Custer's as they are first point of contact. Not once has anyone them gone and sat with other departments and asked for feedback. All they care is about numbers and stats. Under them you have the Senior Management Team in short these are all the heads of the departments who have meeting every so often. Instead of being cooperative they just blame each other for whatever has happened. Once they have had their meeting they are supposed to discus the key points to their team so they have clarity of what's happening in the business and also what's coming up in the future, but nothing ever gets fed backed to the teams so they are stuck with very little information. There is no such thing as a pay banding/structure. For example how is it possible for some to be on 1st line support who are paid higher then people who are on 2nd line support. Also, how is it when this company provides a bespoke software (where you can't learn anything anywhere unless you work at this company) offer a higher salary to new starters and ignore the staff who have years of experience behind them. It honestly baffles me. People are literally fighting for a pay rise in this company. As the term goes "It's who you know, not what you know" that is what Autocabs Moto should be. As there have been incidents of where female workers have been harassed either at work or at the works do whether it be physically or mentally nothing will ever happen to the culprit and they will keep their job cause they are pally pally with the higher ups. Which is absolutely wrong on all sorts of levels.

Autocab Response

Thanks for taking the time to review the company. I'm sorry to read your experience has been so negative. We want everyone's journey at Autocab to be fulfilling, and it would appear we haven't succeeded in your case. As a business we do welcome any and all feedback and use it to help shape policy and procedure moving forwards. Whilst we feel the experience you've outlined is not shared by other staff, we are inviting customer-facing teams a chance to feedback to the company (in addition to the annual Pulse survey, suggestions box and various other forums) to allow others in the business to share their feelings and opinions as well. Pros
We’re pleased to hear that you appreciate the efforts we've made to provide a range of workplace benefits and that you've found camaraderie among colleagues. We understand that it’s the people who make the culture, and we're fortunate to have dedicated team members. Cons
Your feedback on leadership and management is heard loud and clear. It's concerning to learn that your impression of management is negative. We strive to create a workplace where everyone is heard and valued. It's regrettable that you haven't felt this way. Like any business we have targets we set out to achieve which then get translated into team and individual KPIs. We’re the UK market leader and have every intention of remaining so. We recognise the need for better communication and collaboration, both vertically and horizontally within the organisation and this is something we strive to deliver through performance reviews, monthly stand-ups, our People Team, the formation of the Senior Management Team and an open and transparent policy towards our company goals and how we're tracking as a business against those goals. Regarding the new office space and flexible working conditions, we're evaluating how best to use our resources for the benefit of our team and will continue to adapt as we move forward. Currently we ask staff to be on-site 50% of the time. Our office space is an important part of our brand identity and a huge draw for both customers and staff. Pay Banding/Structure
We acknowledge your comments on the pay structure and will review it. It's important to us that everyone feels fairly compensated for their role and their experience. We conducted an exercise with 3rd party assistance a few years back to ensure we had salary parity across the business regardless of role, manager or department. I can categorically confirm that there isn't the disparity you allege in your comments. Inappropriate Behaviour We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind. If these incidents are occurring and not being dealt with, it's critical that we look into this immediately. No one should feel unsafe or undervalued at work. Advice to Management
Your advice is being taken seriously. We aim to make constant improvements to the work environment and are committed to examining our policies and procedures critically. The ultimate success of our company relies on the well-being and contributions of our team members. Your comments have been discussed in depth by the exec team and were aired at last week's stand up with the entire staff in attendance – they have yet to be echoed by other staff members. We are committed to evolving and creating a better, transparent, workplace culture. Once again, thank you for your time and for bringing these concerns to our attention. We're committed to bettering our work environment for all involved.

Pros

The team are pleasant to work with and are very knowledgeable with what they do. The products I've been working on have a global client base and so the work covers more than I've previously experienced and so I'm learning a lot. The office location is central and very modern. Plenty of social events like weekly gatherings and running events in the summer. Free lunch every month.

Cons

Nothing critical so far. Due to the global nature of the products, there can unforseen requirements which come with short deadlines during holidays when most people are off but nothing too crazy.
