Pros
- PEOPLE: Being part of a great pool of passionate and driven people. From Day 1, felt welcome and had the opportunity to work on projects with different members of the different departments. The Management Team is also very receptive to suggestions and encourages collaboration. In my brief stint in AutoGrow, I definitely learned a lot from all of them especially from our CEO and Leads - PROCESS: Given the done-for-you task model of AutoGrow, the delineation of tasks backend is clear but at the same time there is always a venue to discuss and always improve - PROGRESS: Though I have decided not to stay due to personal reasons, I did see, in my brief time in AutoGrow, their thrust to always creatively evolve. Management is future-thinking also so there's always new exciting endeavors on the horizon. Under a different circumstance, I do think that it is a good place to have a long-term career wherein one can also keep growing with the company.
Cons
- Timezone: As it's my first time working on EST Time. I had no problem keeping awake during office hours but had to adjust my sleeping in the morning. 😅 - Interaction: I have been working remotely since the pandemic but AutoGrow is my full-remote-under-one-platform stint. Though everyone has been very accommodating, there can be a feeling of working in a silo. But once I realized that it's just a matter of reaching out, it's a smooth road from there.
