Pros
I'm writing this in responses to a couple of unfair reviews posted recently about the IT Department. I have been at AutoAnything for over 2 years now and believe it's one of the best places to work in San Diego. We're led by a great CIO who has instituted some good changes recently including some values that are going to make us even greater. Our CIO believes that we can only learn by failing, which is a good thing if you really think about it since no one is perfect, so failing is a great way to learn. We have a lot of really great managers, and it was recently announced that we're going to get another director since we need more leadership. We now have more managers than ever to help anyone that needs it. No real deadlines and we can push unfinished work to the next sprint. This allows us to work at our own pace since software development is an art and can't be rushed. Not only do we have free breakfast on Fridays, we have free breakfast just for the IT department on Mondays and free sodas just for the IT department. This is because the IT department is the most valued department within AutoAnything. Lots of fun, we do so many things outside of work like beer crawls, weekend trips, it's too much fun to work here.
Cons
There are cons at any job, no job is going to be perfect. We have a lot of older employees that have a bad attitudes.
