Good entry level but little training - Behavior Technician Autism Learning Partners Employee Review

Pros

You can get experience working here since it's an entry level position.

Cons

Training through video is not the most effective way to teach for this role. You should consider doing small group training outdoors. I'm pretty sure the parents knew that I had no idea what I was doing. I asked my sup what I should say in case the family ask if I had experience, she told me to tell them I had many years or experience. I didn't feel right when my clients mom asked me and I lied to her.

Thank you for this - and for the genuine advice you left for management. Hearing directly from RBTs is something we deeply value, and the fact that you felt those voices weren't reaching the right people is feedback we take to heart. Amazing clients and growth opportunities are things we work hard to protect, and we know that means getting the environment and leadership around them right too. Communication and stability are areas we're actively investing in, and your perspective helps shape that work. Thank you for everything you gave to your clients.
