Pros
Nothing to be honest. Still will point out some things which you may think as pros. 1. Timely salary 2. Less workload (could be different for different departments) 3. You’ll learn politics. (Very well)
Cons
Got ample of it so spare your 2-3 mins 1. No timings flexibility (They’ll cut your pay happily) 2. Awful rules (you can’t go out from a building and stuff like that, you’ll have to submit your phone to your TL just imagine) 3. Typically a BPO 4. No work ethics (from VPs to managers to TLs you’d see everyone shouting at their peers for no good reason) 5. No employee value ( if you’re ready to be yelled at, wanna see your self esteem getting crushed, wanna feel like a peasant labour. You’re most welcome to join this company) 6. No stability ( You can be fired anytime. Be prepared. Even current employees. Beware) 7. Management issues ( top-tier management has no stability, you’ll see all the top management getting changed frequently as if there were seasons in an year ) 8. Learning/upskilling ( None. I repeat None. In fact, you’ll eventually forget whatever you did in your past experiences. In short, you’ll be a caveman by the time you leave) 9. Infrastructure (someone should visit office premises just to support my comment, ACs would stop working, bathrooms are stingy, there’s no parking space, seating spaces are too crowded and chairs , gawd, must have seen atleast 20 people falling from their chairs) 10. No clarity on scope of the work (The people over there would just hire and then think, why did we hire them. There’s no clarity, no thought process, basically nothing. It’s like a swamp. Better stay away or get out asap) 11. HR is just good for nothing. ( have seen numerous cases where there’s so much unrest in the team and HR is helpless. They have no say if any of the top management people are involved ) 12. Technically outdated (company doesn’t endorse or support any of the new technologies, methodologies that’s happening in the market. And if someone tries to do it, they just get stomped. Good for nothing again) 13. Power concentration ( if you have read till here you would have realised, power is concentrated at some points and they will be the torchbearer for the whole company. Come near or raise your voice against them and you’ll burn ) 14. Hike (Accounts and HR are horrendous , they’ll stop your hike, variables and bonus, if any, just for the sake of it. They have fear of people leaving as soon as they get it.) 15. Attrition rate is really high. (And assuming, now you know why) Sorry, if I have missed out any. But there’s a huge problem with this company which I don’t know if they’ll ever be able to solve. Company hasn’t been growing since 5 years and there multiple attempts to make it big has just failed. Tech people just stay away, even if you don’t have any offer in your hand and this is the sole offer. Wait and try somewhere else. Please don’t get irritated by joining here. I feel pity for people over there, all those whom I know, are searching for a job or planning to quit. None will be satisfied with what they’re doing over there. Positive reviews out there must be fake, or they haven’t served enough in this company to feel the flavour.
