Pros

Provide Continuing Education Courses for free Attentive to detail

Cons

While management “love bombs” employees at the start, the care doesn’t always feel genuine long term. Strong pressure to commit to full-time hours. The workload is very physically demanding, which makes work–life balance hard to maintain.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for recognizing the continuing education opportunities and attention to detail within our operations. AUSTINDEEP emphasizes thoughtful onboarding and clear expectations, particularly early in employment. As therapists grow, our goal is for support to evolve into greater professional confidence and independence while maintaining consistent, high standards of care for clients. Massage therapy is inherently physically demanding, and we encourage ongoing conversations around scheduling, workload, and long-term sustainability. Therapists are supported in selecting schedules that align with their goals, physical capacity, and overall well-being. Management presence and operational oversight are intended to support quality, safety, and smooth studio operations, not to limit autonomy. We regularly review our systems to ensure they remain effective, respectful, and aligned with the needs of both therapists and clients. We appreciate this feedback and remain committed to fostering a professional, structured, and supportive workplace. We wish this former team member continued success in their career.

Pros

The flexibility here is unmatched, and the pay is very competitive with no pressure to upsell products. Little things like laundry, snacks, and drinks make your day easier. There’s a strong focus on employee appreciation, including social gatherings that help build real connections. You’re supported every step of the way with mentorship and one-on-one coaching that truly helps you grow and refine your skills. Therapists are genuinely taken care of, and the training is thorough while still being flexible and accommodating. Even simple things—like completing SOAP notes consistently and maintaining a positive outlook—are recognized. There are fun, engaging incentives like monthly raffles where therapists can earn bonus pay, which shows how much AustinDEEP values both performance and creating an enjoyable work environment.

Cons

This may not be the right fit for individuals who struggle to maintain a positive outlook or consistently demonstrate professional behavior, as the culture here is rooted in positivity, accountability, and mutual respect.

This really means a lot. Thank you for taking the time to share it. I started AUSTINDEEP because I believed massage therapy deserved better. Hearing that it actually feels that way from the inside means everything. Grateful to have you on the team and proud of what we're building together. Jessica

Pros

-Free Parking -Free Lunch- -White bread, cheap singles orange cheese, mayo, turkey and or ham. -PB & J sandwiches. -If you work 10 hours (double shift) you get a $10 juiceland giftcard. - Lost a few pounds

Cons

-Owner will shame you for your weight. -Pay is not enough. Even the manager was struggling to pay her bills in her studio apartment. -The culture there is interesting... to say the least. -Really hard on our body -If the client brings in a lot of money they wont get redlisted for inappropiate behaviour. They just wont come in for a few weeks and wont have that specific LMT work on them again. -Toxic work environment
