Pros

Good stepping stone to get to a bigger, better opportunity. A lot of flexibility in working from home. Even though their business is tightly wrapped around two main clients, they are very big players in the game and look great on your resume. Some movement across client sites when possible. Fun coworker happy hours.

Cons

AustinCSI struggles with retaining talent. Look at the trajectory of former employees to see how almost all of them have moved on to better opportunities. The only people who remain have figured out how to play their game and are complacent with being a big fish in a small pond. Either that, or they're not talented enough to find a better position. Favoritism is based off of who is drinking the Kool-Aid. Doing well with this company is not based off of merit and performance, but rather who they can control and manipulate. The politics at client site are sickening. No matter what they tell you, they are more concerned with making the client happy (even when they are unethical) than keeping your job and family secure. Remember, Texas is an at-will state. Leadership does not conduct themselves as professionals, but as biting, insecure teenagers. Whenever there is an influx of positive reviews, it is because management is encouraging it to hide these negative reviews. Perception is reality, so pay attention to what people are saying.

Pros

There are some talented Consultants with the misfortune of working at this location.

Cons

Karen Moree is not a leader and used intimidation and threats, along with several other "leaders." There are some great people here in the organization. However, the failure of the leadership makes for a poor working experience. There is an extreme amount of favoritism and nepotism. You can get away with violating the law as long as you're in the leadership's good favor. They will exploit and overwork their Consultants to the point of exhuastion, then claim you're not working. You will produce the work they ask for and then pretend like you never delivered it. They prey on H1BI. And despite how hard you work, people won't believe anything you say, even if a client blatantly lies and several people who work with the client indicate that an employee at the client's location is lying. Unless you're Causcasian because then you need to be given the benefit of the doubt.
