There are quite a bit of cons. The biggest problem is that management and some directors are chosen because they are in a social clique rather then because they are actually good at their job. It takes a very long time to join the clique if you ever want to be promoted or even noticed. Meanwhile, entry level workers (some who are far more knowledgeable and hardworking), end up doing the legitimate work and helping clients solve their actual problems while being compensated poorly for their efforts.
