Pros
Some really excellent people working on projects in a very exciting space. Small enough where you still have some ability to make an impact. The technical teams are incredible.
Cons
-Post-acquisition the company is a shell of it's former self. I wouldn't be surprised if Assa Abloy completely guts the company in the next year. This is being accelerated by clueless business teams making poor decisions and messing up simple things like listing products at the correct price. -There is a serious sexual harassment problem...and the company has worked to remove victims who speak out... -After the acquisition the company is stripping away benefits one by one. -As an employee you are not encouraged to raise differing opinions. The company has been churning senior level employees pretty quickly because they hire smart people who advise them to change decisions. After getting the feedback that they should do things differently those employees are targeted for removal. -Leadership is not transparent and sees employees as disposable. -The company is delusional with its expectations on new products and wants to nickel and dime customers. -Leaders aren't even confident in the direction of the business post-acquisition which is why there has been an exodus of many of them.
