Pros

I am joining AtreNet because they are a top-flight agency with a long list of very happy clients and a multitude of employees that have stayed with AtreNet for over a decade. One of my mandates as the new VP of Client Services is to ensure that all of our employees are given the resources and space they need to keep our clients happy. I will be putting my long experience managing people and projects to work matching our internal processes and culture with the excellent, award-winning, work we are already doing for our clients. We will continue to be a hard-charging, client-focused, super-lean organization, but we will also be a place where employees and contractors are proud not just of their work but of the place where they work.

Cons

As the new VP of Client Services for AtreNet, I have read all of the reviews from former employees and hear their concerns.

Pros

Pros: I've been with AtreNet for 3 years as a Project Manager and have watched it grow and evolve at a ridiculous pace. No lie: It's hard, it's challenging and the pace is insane. I've worked in the nuthouse of retail district support for 10 years (which includes the holidays and Black Friday). So believe me, I know "fast-paced and challenging." However, the flipside is it's incredibly rewarding and I've learned more here than any other job I've had. New deals are constant and non-stop. There are no lulls or gaps. You'll work a lot more than "normal," but that's not for everyone. I've personally seen people run away screaming because they wanted a 9-5 job. This isn't it. We have clients in the US, EMEA and APAC, so we have to adjust sometimes based on the timezone. Our processes are constantly improving and we've got some of the most cutting-edge tools and insanely smart people working here. The site designs and engineering systems are crazy good, and they get better with each relaunch. We serve some of the biggest companies in Silicon Valley (AtreNet's been around and profitable for 20+ years), which is oftentimes an amazing learning experience -- but as a result, there's no time to be soft and there's little room for failure. So if you didn't get the inference here, expectations are suitably crazy high. If you don't take criticism well and don't want to improve from it, look elsewhere -- they expect the best every day, which is hard sometimes. Did I mention I'm one of the employees that works from home fully remote?? Big time plus.

Cons

Some weeks it can almost be too much, but I work alongside some of the most high-performing people I've ever met here, so it's worth it. Crazy crunches happen, but this is normal for most companies with tight timelines and demanding clients. The usual work/life balance stuff.

Pros

I've been working for Tushar Atre at AtreNet since 2014, and I've learned so much. I'm really pushing myself to get exposure and business experience. In my first year here, I've been in more big meetings that matter and I've gotten more support from senior members of the AtreNet team than I have at any other time in my career. Tushar is one of the most driven people I've ever met and he puts customer satisfaction over all else. The pace is always hectic, but the launches and wins are thrilling. We're on the front lines every day helping Silicon Valley companies succeed, and that drives our team. One of the reasons I'm publishing this is because I don't want to see my growing company get a bad rap from a disgruntled former employee. Typically, when people have a bad experience, they are much more motivated to post a review or shout it from the rooftops, whether it's a restaurant, job, or retail experience. There's always challenges with any job, and you have to be ready to give your everything, but the experience and what I'm learning will benefit me and my career in the long-term.

Cons

As with any full-time job, balancing your work and personal life can be a challenge. But you get out of your job what you put into it. There's no way to partially commit or half-ass this job.
