Pros

If you're considering working for Atomic, I would highly recommend! There's so much opportunity to work autonomously and set/achieve goals. Jackie is a great listener and genuinely cares about every employee. He is incredibly flexible and makes time to address every team member one on one. Working for Atomic means that you'll have a ton of exposure to different kinds of work and get a lot of experience fast! This agency has a lot of talented people that work really hard to achieve client goals. Work from home Wednesdays, Think and Drink (happy hour) on Fridays, medical/dental/vision benefits, PTO, and training opportunities make this agency a pleasure to work for week to week!

Cons

The agency (like most agencies) doesn't do enough show to the great value they provide for clients. The team could do a better job of collectively celebrating wins more often. This is VERY fast paced work environment which sometimes results in a lack of "down time" to celebrate those wins.

Pros

- Small, everything you do has a significant impact. - Smart and talented people, including leadership. - Leadership actually, like really does care about their people. - Flexible as possible with personal needs and accommodations. - Leadership is open but respectfully cautious to new ideas. - Casual and down to earth culture. - Fantastic camaraderie and culture, still friends with most of them even after a couple years. - Work from home Wednesdays (pre-covid) - Think and Drink events, which is basically an excuse to have a couple beers and blow off steam on Fridays. - Relatively low turnover for an agency.

Cons

- Small, everything you do has a significant impact. - Small, very little to no internal advancement paths and compensation is under market. - Its an agency so pace can be intense but still better than most. - As a developer, I would have to admit their tech stack is a little boxed in and quite a bit behind. But their clients don't feel that, wouldn't know any better and probably wouldn't care anyway - they get it done and very well too.
