Pros

Upbeat environment. It is nice to get to know the patients and build a relationship with them. This job gets a good idea of what outpatient physical therapy would look like for people wanting to go to PT school.

Cons

There is a lot of work. When the therapists are working with a patient, the aide may have up to 5 patients to work with. It can get stressful and the pay is not great. It is usually minimum wage. For the amount of work being done, it is not enough.

Pros

Great hands on experience compared to other clinics. Heard that at other clinics, aides just clean and 'make the clinician's life easier' but at this location if youre willing to learn and take initiative, you can assist patients through their exercises under supervision of the licensed therapist

Cons

The only thing is the pay, but it's an entry level job so makes sense why.
