An underpaid, overworked position used to boost corporate profits - Rehab Aide Athletico Employee Review

Pros

Good on resume for pre-health students.

Cons

The Rehab Aide position is paid minimum wage to handle critical tasks for the flow of patients. They are stretched thin and asked to do so many tasks at once that it is impossible not to make mistakes. They serve a significant role in increasing the patient load of the clinic (increased revenue) and are not given any share of the increased profits. It is a poorly defined position asked to handle the grunt work of the office so it can cycle as many patients in an out as possible.

Pros

Great hands on experience compared to other clinics. Heard that at other clinics, aides just clean and 'make the clinician's life easier' but at this location if youre willing to learn and take initiative, you can assist patients through their exercises under supervision of the licensed therapist

Cons

The only thing is the pay, but it's an entry level job so makes sense why.
