Pros

Your coworkers and patients are the best part of this job.

Cons

Too much of a focus on marketing. As clinicians, you go to school to learn to treat patients, not to market yourself and the company to local docs. The expectation to see a certain volume of patients, while also hitting a certain amount of relationship building contacts is stressful and often calls for extra work outside of the 40 hour work week. Also, there is pressure to bill a certain amount of units for each patient. This feels unethical, especially when treating Medicare patients who should only be billed for direct 1:1 care. There is less of a focus on patient care. I once sat in a monthly staff meeting and the sole topic was marketing; not teamwork, not customer service, not getting our patients better. It's a shame.

Pros

Great hands on experience compared to other clinics. Heard that at other clinics, aides just clean and 'make the clinician's life easier' but at this location if youre willing to learn and take initiative, you can assist patients through their exercises under supervision of the licensed therapist

Cons

The only thing is the pay, but it's an entry level job so makes sense why.
