Pros

-discount is amazing -family of brands discount as well -great teammates

Cons

This is absolutely the most atrocious clientele I have ever had to serve. It’s mostly women aged 35-80. I cannot tell you how many times I have almost burst into tears from the way customers treat myself and my team. They act like just because we work in retail, we have no brains and are dumb. That is far from the truth. Retail managers do it all. These women are so nasty, always looking for a discount and getting upset when there is none. The way we get spoken to at the cash register is inhumane, when all we are trying to do is help. I never want any customer to leave upset, so I do my best to have everyone leave the store happy… but sometimes it’s so hard with the way these women act. My area might be more challenging as it is an uppity area. Do not go shopping in public if you aren’t going to be nice. We are human beings, we have families, children and lives outside of this store. Treat us like humans, not punching bags. Pay needs to be much higher to deal with such miserable customers.

Pros

Very black & white on policies. You always know what is right or wrong.Operationally strong company that allows movement between brands. Decent pay if you advocate for yourself as an external, but don’t expect much once you’re in.

Cons

Company has changed direction so much since COVID. Seems like there’s no clear idea on who we are anymore.Senior leadership feels like a revolving door that only succeeds in spinning tires with no traction. We love to initiate something only to either sunset it months later or leave it in limbo(WellPro). The amount of stress pushed on stores to meet credit goals is absurd to the point it inspires unethical behaviors in certain stores.
